“… it effectively granted me to jump start my career in the field I’m profoundly passionate about!”
I was just an ordinary student before taking part in the Summer Law Institute.
I had seen many times the advertising posters hung on my university walls, so, one day, I decided to face my fear of being too young and getting behind with the exams, and I applied.
At the presentation day, I perfectly remember professor Farah saying that, after this experience, a lot of students talk about their life referring to “prior SLI” and “after SLI” and, while a part of me thought he was exaggerating, the other part wondered “but what if he is right?”

"My Summer School in China: How to fall in love with a Country and its people in 30 days"
Given that I’ve always loved to travel and discover new places, I have admit that before 2012 I was not eyeing China or Asia in general.
Over a year ago, walking through the halls of the university, almost by accident, my attention was cought by an ad 'Summer Law Institute in China'. Since I was looking for some good reason to move from Italy, this seemed to me the perfect opportunity to combine study and cultural journey.

“Once overcame all the doubts [to stay far from Italy] I realized incredible value of this experience.”
Several years after attending the Summer Institute in Beijing, I can say that that experience helped me strongly to improve to my university results and degree and to my professional life. Indeed, the Summer Institute gave me an international overview and the opportunity to interact with professionals and students coming from all over the world.

“The great aspect of the summer school is that you feel warmly hugged by a big family, because once you have joined the network, there is no way out.”
I decided to attend the Edition 2012 of the Summer Law Institute in China - Executive Education Training Program, while I was getting through a moment of confusion and doubts about my university career’s future steps.
The international and challenging environment I found and the people I met in China, helped me to understand definitively the path I wanted to run; once back in Italy, I soon took the decision to change my final dissertation’ issue and I chose a theme linked to the subject of international trade law, which was one of the main course held by Professor Farah in Beijing.
