Grades, Exams, Certification and Credits
Grades
During each course students will be tested through the submission of papers, in-class exams as well as oral presentations.
Grades are assigned to students also based on their attendance at lectures, seminars and round tables, therefore participation in classes is highly recommended.
Exams and Certification
All courses feature a final examination at the end. All students are encouraged to take the final examination. Those who choose not to will be granted a Certificate of Attendance provided they have attended at least 75 per cent of the taught lectures, seminars and round tables.
All students successfully passing the exams will obtain a Transcript of records and a Certificate of Attendance. Students attending both curricula will receive two certificates.
Credits
For students
The Certificates and Transcripts provided to successful participants will enable them to receive credit from their home universities. However, it is strongly suggested for students to contact their home university in advance in order to allow such a procedure.
The Summer Law Institute – Executive Education Training Program office is available to provide any further information which may be helpful to students or their institutions.
For professionals
In previous editions of the program, the attendance to each one of the two curricula of the Summer Law Institute – Executive Education Training Program was granted the recognition of 24 training credits by the Bar Association. However please note that it is not possible to achieve more than 24 credits per year from this Program. For Edition 2020, the validation is under evaluation by the Italian Bar Association.
